Update on my previous post regarding the account ban

In case you need context , please take some time to check out my post:

At this point, some people might say: “fk it, this game ain’t for me.” and move on, but not me. I love this game, because it resembles a game I used to play called “Valkyrie Crusade”. Ever since its server got shut down, I’ve been searching for an alternative. And the day I found out about Soul Tide, I was like: “Finally, this is exactly what I was looking for, a perfect replacement for my favorite game!” In fact, I was so excited that I even downloaded it several days before it got released.

But only then did I realized that I always had the “gotta have x and y at the beginning, or else it doesn’t count. No exception!” kind of mindset. I know this game is easy on the f2p, and I wasn’t chasing any meta in particular, but since I HAD a goal, I forced myself to stick to it. And so, I started rerolling like a mad man.

3 days later, yes, it took me 3 days of nonstop rerolling to finally get what I wanted (don’t be like me, I’m a perfectionist, if I do say so myself). With no time to waste, I quickly jumped into the game. And boy was it worth it. I love the game so much I spent time for it whenever I can, and I even managed to reach top 60 in the weekly boss’ leaderboard. But then, all of a sudden, right after the maintenance, my IP and account got banned.

Frustrated, I rushed to their Discord to contact customer service. I tried to solve it as quickly as possible, so that I can have my account back. But for some reason, I had to wait 3 days before someone finally acknowledge my DM. It went to shit, and I got blocked before receiving any useful solution to my problem.

After that fail attempt, I took some time to collect my thoughts, and realized that, like it or not, it was partly my fault that things did not happen the way I wanted it to be. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t go around venting to EVERYONE about my problems, frustrations, and struggles. That said, I am definitely guilty of letting it emotionally spill out from time to time. With that in mind, I decided to adjust my behavior, and try to contact them via email instead. This time, I tried to be more polite, admitted my fault, and asked for forgiveness. I thought that if I somehow managed to convince them, they would lift the ban, and everything would go back to normal.

But, to my disappointment, they only sent me an email that asked for my account’s information, and after that, nothing else happened. I’m not sure if they really are THAT busy, or just an unreasonable company that doesn’t really have an interest in customer service.

If I don’t receive anything else by next Monday, I will just assume it’s the latter, then reconsider whether the issue is worth my time and energy to solve. If they don’t respect me, it might be time to fold and move on with my life. There are a lot of good games in the market, and I’m sure I will be able to find one with better customer service to spend my time and money.

Thank you for reading my story, I wish you all the best.

How many times did you reroll? The discord response in the other post, they mentioned hundreds of rerolls. Did you actually reroll that many times? I hope you weren’t going purely for meta and needing Akaset and Nicolette for your starting account along with Colcher because you only needed to wait 2 weeks they would all have had rate up banners and with the amount of pulls you get just from playing, you would have had a high chance of getting all of them.

With the way their game is designed I would’ve thought they’re actively wanting people to reroll

I mean, even outside of the login screen they still keep the button to change accounts easily on the left side of the game while you’re playing, which makes me think that having multiple accounts and playing between them is something they encourage people to do. And that’s literally no different than rerolling

*Update 1: I can’t access Soul Tide’s EULA page anymore. If you can’t as well, then maybe they finally decided to “update” it a little bit so that people like me have no absolute no chance of blaming them for banning our accounts without a valid reason. What a joke!

Disclaimer: English is my third language, im still working on it, thank you for your patience
Yeah, its been 3 days and no more response from email, then rush to discord and the same dev that ask me before my information and guide me to what to do with my situation, after i ask some other way to appeal my case he ask me my account information like a robot all over again… that was pretty uncomfortable. I think they’re just following a company’s protocol so theres no way to make them change the ban. Im still able to play with my account even after all the maintenances (using vpn), so maybe they just blacklisted the ip to prevent more account creations (just as roblox, they just ip ban but the dont touch the accounts), but im really dying every time i log into my account and knowing that maybe one day they will deleted it. I ask this to a dev on discord and got the same response “send all your info, pic and Uid to help you to fix this problem” and at this point all i wanna know is if i can play normally and im free to spent my entire salary into this freaking game, and if you’re asking yourself why you dont make this on a new account? well i really want to justify the three+ days i was rerolling with no sleep + dealing with a bunch of stuff from college and my job and already put money into that account so yeah.

And Yes, i play other gatchas too and yes i also i have a new account that i make in the right way but unfortunaly dont have Colcher cause my ban was after her banner ends, this account is like my backup…

I hope they can clarify what is going on with this, the other thing that got me worried is that bluestacks and LD player via twitter are making promotion of the game and if an emulator with multi instance is promoting this game they at least should warn about the ban for massive account creation.

I believe this game won’t last long

Shit game. Just move on and ban this game.

Companies like these only play with rules that suits them

Followed this here from a gachagaming repost/psa.

One thing I wanted to point out, is that in many CS queues, sending a new email response puts you back at the end of the queue again. So, if this is a 2-day queue, the soonest you’ll get a response is 2 days from the last email you sent.

Obviously, I don’t know if it applies to this game specifically, but it has for almost every gacha game I’ve sent a CS request to in the past.

Because this one is long, and I wasn’t sure if it’s a good idea to merge them.

Well, I’m that extreme. And I also mentioned that I wasn’t chasing meta or anything of the sort. I set a goal, and acted on it.

Haven’t had the chance to experience games that do “hard ban” if the user performs mass rerolling like you said, but if there were rules like that written in the EULA since day 1, then there’s no point to even think about asking for your account back.

But in this case, since I have yet to find any rule like that, therefore I would just assume my account was flagged as a product of mass reroll for selling purpose. Means there’s still hope, as long as I can convince them that wasn’t my intention, I simply wanted a good start, eventhough my method was sus as heck.

Lastly, like I said, if they don’t give me any useful answer by next Monday, then they indeed don’t give a shit about me - a customer who loves, and is willing to pay money for their product. From a bussiness stand point, obviously it would be their loss.

The eula part has to be in caps

In my case, they banned the account as well, so VPN can’t help.

Nobody knows how many people were hired to do customer service in that company, and how many request do they receive on a daily basis, so the only thing I can do is hope that they can come to a conclusion for my case asap.

Would you be satisfied if they unbanned your IP but forced you to start over and you lost your perfect account you finally managed to reroll? If so, you can always look into subscribing to a fixed IP VPN service and making a new account there. Those may cost a few dollars a month, but if your interest for this game is that intense, it’ll be worth it considering it’s cheaper than the monthly subscription packs this game offers. It’ll be annoying to always need to remember to use the VPN or risk getting banned again. You can also look into changing your IP address.

Wow, are you sure?, why will they ban you in a different way?, did you try with others vpns?

That’s not at all what I’m saying.

What I’m saying is, you sent 4 emails to them on this last cycle. In most CS queues, each email will reset you back to the back end of the queue again. I don’t know how many days long their normal queue is - 2 days was just an example. However long it is, though, you very likely reset it every time you send a new email, so if you don’t stop and just sit on your hands for a few days, you may not get a response. Most games, nobody even reads the request until it reaches being handled by the CS team.

DFFOO took about 3 days for each response, again just as an example of what might be possible here.

So I would lose the account no matter what I choose? Xd

If they don’t want to lift the ban and let me have the account back despite all my effort, then I would just leave. I like the game, but it’s them who don’t allow me to enjoy it.

Yup, I went around the world several times a day. And it still got banned anywhere :c

You made some good points, I will minimize the amount of email I send to them and see what happens.
