Can’t wait to watch playoffs

I can’t help to think that Canucks will be in the playoffs this year (most likely…) and I am stoked to watch our boys in the playoffs again.

However I will be in Mexico May 1-6 anyone had any experience watching NHL games while in Mexico? (Cancun).

Thinking of purchasing the $20 Sportsnet+ for the days I’m there just to watch the boys :joy:

Any else pumped knowing that you get to watch the boys in the playoffs again?

I’m not sure you can stream games on SN app if you are out of the country. Not positive, but look into it before you purchase.

I’ve never been to Cancun but have seen games in Canadian specific bars in Cabo and Sayulita

Looks like Sky Mexico has the rights in mexico. They would broadcast the espn coverage looks like. Maybe see if they have a streaming package to sign up for.

You can always just google it… say hypothetically you wanted to STREAM in the EAST then maybe googling would get you somewhere you could watch the game

All you noobies be prepared.

Canucks tend to have gut wrenchingly dramatic series’s in the NHL, for some reason.

The Highs are the highest in the NHL, IMO, as an equal part jets fan I have a fair amount of experience for comparison.

But… the canucks will break your heart, and make you cry, red wedding style.

Hoping for something new this year, but either way i wouldnt trade it for the world.

Not sure if you have Telus but if you have an account, you can download the Telus+ app and just log in with your account info and watch any channel on your phone. I do this all the time when I’m not home.

I was in Mexico during the San Jose 2011 series and the hotel managed to find a CBC feed at the bar as there were so many Canadians staying at this resort and wanted to watch, even if they were from Toronto lol

You can rest assured playoffs will happen, they’d have to go worse than 8-19 to finish off the year!
I wouldn’t trust your home streaming unless you’ll have a laptop with vpn, even then I have issues streaming when out of country.
Maybe a DAZN free trial would work

Yes, get sportsnet+. You get every game, and if you don’t, just use a VPN and you will.

When to playoff tickets go on sale?

I’m ready to hurt.

Am in Cancun now…i couldnt even get the radio to work through the sportsnet app, never mind watching it.

I was in Puerto Vallarta and they had a sports bar near the resort that had hockey on. Was wild but maybe there’s a chance for you too

I was able to use my NHL subscription in st Maarten years ago. I’m sure you could find a streaming service. They usually do playoff packages

Gonna be driving from alberta to see a playoff game in Vancouver so excited im just not looking forward to ticket prices

You need a vpn to make it look like youre in canada. Ive been touring central america since nov, using nordvpn and sportsnet or tsn or even telus app to watch my local tv. Has worked like a charm til last night, suddenly all services are seeing my vpn and not allowing a connection. Nordvpn is working to resolve, ive had other services that did work with nord but have suddenly stopped also.

But the point is you do need a vpn, or find some free streaming service that picks up the gamesZ ive tried some but found them very painful to use, full of ads

Bold of you to assume they’ll be playing in May…

Though I most certainly hope that to be the case.

I used a free VPN and logged into sportsnet (via TV provider) and was able to watch in Cancun no problem. Also was able to watch on the plane.

I’m sorry you can’t STREAM it while on the EAST coast of Mexico, I hope you are able to find a way .TO find the game somehow

Yeah ill look into it, they do advertise it “watch games from anywhere” lol
