Can’t wait to watch playoffs

Don’t bothered with any paid NHL services if you are traveling or remote. I tried many official NHL services like a loser for many years and was frustrating to no end when I couldn’t watch the games while traveling.

It’s a sad state for hockey because I’d be watching in a random airport and people around me will stop to ask what sport it is. It really shows the NHL is still living under a rock.

This is the correct answer, unless the NHL streaming service works differently and carries games in mexico. Otherwise you need a good vpn.

When you’re ON a trip and want to watch HOCKEY, there may not be any options without a .TV!

I fell in love at Tripple overtime in round 1 of 1994 and I never looked back, I was hurt when I was younger
My fair share of times I got so lucky that in 2011 I had just started dating my now wife the year before so I had her to comfort me when we lost

I’ve went into cardiac arrest multiple times watching the team over the last 38 years… the canucks will definitely make you fly out of your fucking chair and spill your beer

They were eliminated two years in a row by the Blackhawks on my birthday. It sucked and I was preparing for the worse again in 2011 lol. Canucks playoff hockey really is a different thing, I’m excited to experience it for the first time with this Reddit community.

Does this work out of country as well?

I use shaw and they have the similar thing, not sure if it’ll work outside of Canada. I tried it in Portland and it didn’t work.

I’ve used that even just to watch from my computer when I had stuff I wanted to do in my office and a game was on

Ditto. I was there for the start of the Boston series and the sports bar in the resort had the games on a big projector screen.

It’ll work even in Cancun?

Ready to hurt your wallet you mean?

I wish I had that much extra liquid cash to fling around but alas I live in BC and own a home haha

They don’t without a VPN. I was just in Mexico last week. But a VPN is easy to get and use, and it worked just fine.

Edit: saw the other comment. I use ExpressVPN and watched all the games in Puerto Vallarta last week.

It actually doesn’t work, even with my free VPN. Would probably work if I paid money and got a good VPN.

The best one on the web for sure

Never tried it but I’m about to as I’ll be in the states this weekend.

It worked for me in Puerto Vallarta with ExpressVPN. Sportsnet+ does block you if you’re in Mexico, but ExpressVPN setting it to Toronto worked just fine for me. Can’t speak for Cancun but I’d expect it to work there.

I feel that in my bones.
Luckily my rent is cheap and I’ve more or less giving up on owning a home in the lower mainland so…why not get a really nice birthday gift to my wife and I lol

Let me know cause I will be in the states for work during some playoffs too and this would be a huge saver. I’m sure I can find a bar but having the option to holding up in the hotel with hockey sounds nice too.
