Yay! Just what nobody asked for! Feature parity with uBlock Origin? Nah. Exposed settings for adblock lists on Android? Nah. The ability to pin favorites on Android’s new tab page? Nah. A VPN nobody’s familiar with when legitimate, vetted alternatives like Mullvad exist? Ship it!
Amusingly, BAT is not an accepted form of payment on any of Brave’s paid services. There are too many issues not being addressed with the core product. Mozilla also went wild with side-ventures and they lost.
What this about is it because I completely masters the blockchain examine all I did was save em money and make sure there was no leaking information plug seal an I move on, I didn’t even need the doh uneven donation to display look I don’t want no doh… Peace I went to bed but it wired right now like what’s the problem with just tighten up security. Is a win win for us all. Hack att joke

Does Brave stream Netflix/Hulu/etc type platforms at 1080p? Or is it around 900p instead like a Chrome?
I don’t see the vpn option on browser, is it only available for certain countries?
Even worse is they vastly overstate what their VPN does compared to other products.
At least it’s a more genuine way to make money, compared to crypto garbage. But VPNs are now dime a dozen, feels like everyone’s making a VPN these days.
I switched to Vivaldi. Their ad blocking somehow seems to work around YT preroll ads which for the first20 secs are unskippable & in turn prevent live stream chat from loading. No idea if or when Brave will ever get around to fixing the issue that started in Sept 2022.

I would assume that their development is based on statistics of the user. As a start-up you are always looking for implementation of the features which reap the most financial benefit, so that other things could be improved. Anyways, I might be wrong.
Not yet! However, Brave Firewall + VPN and other Premium Products & Services are first in line for integration with Pay with BAT this year, as mentioned in our recent State of the BAT update.

ya it’s a little strange. I use default brave on main PC but havent seen it yet. I use Brave beta both on living room HTPC and at work but it only shows the VPN icon on the HTPC.
Vivaldi UI is so bloated that it’s unusable. It’s filled with so much CSS and Javascript. They also have some of the worst trackpad gesture support.
Jesus chirst look at this guy’s account. No seriously, actually look through their account, even for just even for half a minute.
Brave’s biggest terminally online shill or paid burner? Constantly writing theoretical essays on browser subreddits only after creating an account less than 2 months ago…

The user experience of the browser itself has been neglected. For example, on Android you can’t pin/edit top sites, move the URL bar to the bottom, use multiple search engines simultaneously, or have any useful widgets (e.g. show me weather). Syncing between desktop and mobile is still broken after all these years. Why would a VPN be prioritized over the user experience?
So I should put up with a 6+ month old bug that has no definitive fix timeline. A bug which I am reminded of several times a day and where other browsers have no such issue. Whose official support has gone downhill since I started using the browser over 4 years ago? I have no use for web 3.0. I need a browser that works and fulfills my daily use requirements.
