So as it stands, it looks like Proton still doesn’t have obfuscation servers, and Nord’s doesn’t work on a router. If I do Proton+OVPN, (I have read that open will automatically obfuscate my connection), on my router, will that work the same as Nord’s obfuscation servers?
If there are better alternatives that have fast obfuscate servers, I’m open to suggestions as well. I haven’t had any issues with the premium servers on Proton getting detected by sites, but if I should switch VPNs I’m definitely willing to.
There is only stealth, no openvpn gui stealth file
Hi! Our very own Stealth protocol was designed to use obfuscation to hide your VPN connection from censors and let you bypass internet censorship and VPN blocks. The Stealth protocol is currently available on Android, iOS, and macOS devices. You can find more details about it at https://protonvpn.com/blog/stealth-vpn-protocol/.
Yeah, but the issue is I need it on Windows PC. I was wondering if just using the normal servers with open would be an effective workaround until the capability comes to Windows.
When do we expect stealth on pc? I cannot connect on pc in China whatsoever
When will Stealth be available on Windows?
when will it be avaliable on openvpn
Stealth is WireGuard-based, so we can’t say if it will be available for the OpenVPN GUI.
