It’s been fine until today, now when I try to run it, it asks me if I want to install a new helper tool.
After tentatively giving access, it refuses to open, and each time I try to open it, it asks the same thing again.
I’m running a Mac. What do? Shall I just try and reinstall?

It’s broken. Remains broken. Boots fine the first time after install. Then never again.
