What vpn’s do you guys usually use or recommend? The one I use is slightly buggy and it dcs me once in a while every fight, and was looking at whether there are more secure ones.
No VPN. I use cookie method. I don’t know why anyone would ever choose vpn over cookie method ever.
Don’t use VPN, use API link and a viewer like KVC 
You only need the VPN for registration really, use the chrome plugin or the latest version of Kancolle Viewer to play everyday without VPNs.
I use the cookie method and KC3 in Chrome, for concern over KCV bans and VPNs in general

Since I play kancolle on my Macbook Pro, and not using any KCV stuffs(Or can’t use, because OS X, go figure),having a subscribed VPN service for Netflix streaming(Living in Asia is sometimes a pain in the ass) so I just stick to VPN. I personally uses Vyprvpn and find it easy to use and is fairly fast, even when we are talking connect from here to LA, across the Pacific, for netflix streaming, although it is quite expensive on some’s view(120USD per year is OK for me)

There were none KCV bans though. And VPN in general. All the bans were due to the third party application that fiddle with the server (or plain bots/cheats). On the other hand, I’ve heard about KC3 in context of banning, though long ago.
Just download KCV and there is a built in option for it that does it automatically. Simple as clicking a button. If you prefer another browser then read here.
Problem with KCV though is that you can’t buy cash items through the shop using it though.
Yeah but it’s not like you’re buying from the cash shop everyday. I’ve got a separate browser (Comodo) I used for when first entering the lottery and purchasing from cash shop. It also uses cookie method.
