Just wondering what types of benefits we get as a student in UCSD. I heard we can get a free 6 months of Amazon Prime, a New York Times subscription, and the Microsoft Office Suite, but is there anything else that I’m missing? I want to try out all the free stuff I can get at this school lol.

Not UCSD specific but $5/month Spotify+Hulu for college students is pretty nice
Free MATLAB, Figma, a bunch of Adobe software, etc.
on coursera, if you sign up with your ucsd email, you get access to all the courses that ucsd offers for free. I’m taking their data structures and algorithms track on there
Kanopy for access to highbrow/intellectual films and documentaries. They have a good chunk of the Criterion/Janus collection on there alongside some A24 titles. Also some instructional programs.

I graduated last year so not sure if this is still a thing, but you used to be able to get 50% off papa johns delivered to campus haha code UCSD50SD I believe
If you’re on the UCSD vpn or WiFi you can watch some shows and movies free through spectrum
Github offers a student developer pack that has a bunch of resources and products free for students
You can get free raccoons if you’re a good runner, and free rabies if you’re a bad handler.

Office 365, including word, excel and PowerPoint.
You have access to all the engineering software too and 3D printing software from SolidWorks, pcb creation such as EagleCad, there’s MathCad, and others
