I tried the VPN server for the first time on purple and I have to say the setup is ridiculously easy. I would like to know if everyone leaves the connection on even at home or do you turn it off. When I do a speed test at home, it appears that FWP/or my iPhone is smart enough to bypass VPN even when it is connected.
I have a 200/10 internet package, when using VPN the bandwidth usually reverses on the client. In this scenario my upload on the client will be 200 and download will be10. I did not see that happening on my home wifi when my VPN was on.
On my phone, I use the “on-demand” feature within the wireguard app and exclude my home SSID. So anytime I leave my home wifi my phone will auto engage VPN, then auto disable when I rejoin my home wifi. Pretty slick and I don’t notice a thing.
By the way if you want to keep your anonymity when you’re away from home, then by turning on VPN server you are actually “departing” from your vpn client IP with a 3rd party provider as a client. Noticed the WireGuard client is not in any group and of course not in any net work. So unless all of your devices are VPN client, which I’m not even sure as possible, you need to put your WireGuard client or other VPN client, You’re home being the server, inside the VPn or Configure aesthetic route to VPN interface for it
Thanks I can see the performance on VPN, Regarding the traffic, If it is local are you saying it will bypass VPN config at home even though I have VPN turned on?

I am sorry, I did not understand your comment. Can you please put it in another way?
