Can any recommend a VPN for diggz xenon and Real debrid ? Been using a VPN service, but UK Servers seem a bit unstable streaming 4k links. Works okay without VPN. Thanks
You don’t need a VPN for real debrid.
I’m in the US so can’t help much. I can point you to the RD page on VPNs that they have whitelisted
If it works fine without one why use one?
Read Debrid is encrypted - That’s why people say you don’t need a VPN. Your ISP can’t see what file you’re getting from there, only that you’re getting a file.
Diggz Xenon however, serves LiveTV and Live Sports, if you’re watching either of them, then you absolutely need a VPN if you want to avoid naughty letters from your ISP.
You don’t need a vpn while using real debrid. It’s already a secure connection.
Troy point wants you to believe this is the only way. He gets paid big bucks for pushing vpn’s. I’ve used Rd for over 6 months and never used a VPN. Everything is fine. It shows connected to their servers; and you have a paid account for this.
Did you find any VPNs that work well enough for this OP?
As others have said you don’t need a VPN while using RD. But if you want for a free VPN I’ve seen Proton recommended in numerous places. I use it on my iPad and it works nicely, but your limited to a small numbers of servers. For a paid VPN mullvad is also well recommended. It costs around $5.45USD a month. You can add time (think reloading minutes I use it on my phone and have no complaints. They take a variety of payment methods (credit card, crypto, I think you can literally mail them cash).
Thanks mate, appreciate your help
Always thought it was good practice when using Kodi, how’s yours set up, just out of curiosity?
Ohh really, how does that work ? I was under the impression when using Kodi it’s was good practice to have a VPN on
Fair point ! What about your ISP potentially blocking the links, is a VPN still worth using for that ? Also if you’d prefer to point me to some sources for using Kodi and rd then I’m happy to do have a look at that rather then bug you with questions
Don’t. If you’re using real debrid it pretty much is a vpn for torrenting. There is no need for a vpn for this, unless you want to view/download outside of real debrid.
If you use premium links only when scraping - such as real debrid, you don’t need a vpn. If you use free links OR stream live content, you need a vpn. So it depends on your use.
Kodi is just an app. It depends where you get your video sources from but with real debrid it’s secure already. A 2 second Google will explain it a little better.
My Isp hasn’t attempted to block anything and I use iptv apps also. Pluto which is free anyway and Samsung live TV. Neither buffer hardly ever. Umbrella or Fen as main Rd add-ons. First link is for IPTV apps. Second is for installing Umbrella.
