VPN Dedicated IP address location advice

I recently I signed up for a subscription to a VPN service where I was able to get an added dedicated IP address location. There are so many choices of countries, I wanted to get some advice as to what country/location city to pick. My assumption is that once I select the country for the dedicated IP address location, I will not be able to change it in the I am in the US.

I mostly use it for day-to-day work, Internet browsing, watching videos, when away from home wifi at places with free wifi, things like that, not region blocked content. I generally watch content that is on my home region Streaming networks. Since I don’t have data on my phone plan that I will be able to use to browse the Internet on my smart phone or tablet, sometimes I use free Wi-Fi when at Starbucks, the library, other places that offer it so this way I figured I would have some more protection when signing on to them.

What is your goal?

If you need fast speeds and low latency, pick the server closest to your location.

If you want to access region-blocked content, pick the server in the region you want to access.

What VPN service did you subscribe to? Generally speaking, all VPN services allow you to switch servers at a whim.

Currently, I have CyberGhost and PIA.
