VPN being detected by YouTube

I get YouTube premium/youtube music with a vpn since it’s way cheaper my current payment is Turkey but they are increasing price so I want to switch country payment, but currently YouTube is detecting the vpn when I try to use two of the cheapest options, Argentina and India, anyone know of a way to bypass this?

I looked into residential proxies a little but don’t know much about them. I would only need to use it for like 5 mins then I would be set.

Just stay at Turkey. The prices can change very quickly. Its not worth the effort. If you want to save money, get some people together for a family subscription.

I just used a vpn last week to sign up for premium YT using an Ukraine server successfully.

Maybe try a free trial of another VPN. Or try different servers on the one you have now.

Do we need to keep vpn active for entire duration of using YouTube or can we cancel after first month?

You might need to change to a new location as YouTube is trying to get around it, heard Ukraine works for some. There’s a bit old thread, but you may also check out these tips and feedback from others who tried and what worked

Using your mobile or desktop?

You can disable the VPN right after the payment validation.

u/huck52 yould you explain how? I’m failing and I constantly get the message “YouTube couldn’t verify your country”

YT wised up to this hack, not operative anymore
