This stops nobody and just allows more data collection from websites. Besides, are you really going to expect a horny 16-year-old to wait until they’re 18 to start looking at porn?

Edit: I’m at work and tried it on my phone. I bought my phone in NY. I didn’t think this would be an issue, but when I look up my ip location it still says I am in NY, which means pornhub thinks I am in NY. I will try again on my home PC (also bought in NY) later.

I am by no means a fan of the porn industry, but Jesus Christ this is so fucked up on so many levels. Such an awful invasion of privacy, and it feels very… handmaid’s tale. Why can’t they focus this energy on hunting down child predators and distribution of CSAM?
