Simply curious to know if using a VPN in bo6 or WZ will get me on the limited matchmaking set out by activision. I had a look at their limited matchmaking clauses. And couldn’t see anything highlighting VPN usage specifically which I thought it would considering how popular they are to use nowadays.

I don’t believe so, have been using Mullvad and had no problems since release when it comes to matchmaking. I didn’t get shadow banned or anything, prestige 1 now!
I wouldn’t recommend using a VPN I got shadow banned a couple of days ago my first time ever I got easier lobbies but not every game was a bot lobby, if you use a VPN and go up against easier players aka bad players they will just all spam report you then you are more at risk of getting shadow banned, I was getting high kill games on Nuketown I used a VPN because I was sick of SBMM and playing multiplayer solo was unplayable especially Nuketown I was actually enjoying the game for once I used the VPN for about 2 days but it wasn’t long until the fun stopped I was shadow banned without warning all of a sudden every lobby I got into was people just using walls and aimbot, the game became unplayable hopefully I’m unbanned when BO6 warzone comes out and before anyone thinks I’m bad and that’s why I used a VPN before the Dark Matter grind I had a 2.80 K/D without using a VPN and a 3/KD in MW3 Warzone resurgence, a 2.73 K/D in ranked resurgence and hit IRI in Season 3 but never played ranked after I hit IRI cuz of the cheaters being everywhere. I used a VPN because I’m sick and tired of the SBMM it’s actually mental draining it’s like ranked play is in pubs so what’s the point in having ranked play if it’s already in pubs and in my experience SBMM feels worse in multiplayer it can also get tiring in warzone sometimes too but not as much I also always run with my squad on warzone and that also makes my experience better too with randoms it sucks most of the time, so would i recommend a VPN, 2 boxing or reserve boosting? The answer is NO I wouldn’t because it’s very likely you will get shadow banned thanks too the garbage system that bad players can abuse too report spam you and just too add you are not safe not even in your own SBMM lobbies my Bro has been shadow banned twice i know what the first one was cuz he told me a platinum team spammed reported him in multiplayer ranked, I also played ranked resurgence with his friend he got a lucky squad wipe and he was shadow banned so quick it was Like Thanos snapped his fingers with the infinity stones and made him disappear out of existence the squad must of reported so quick from that team he just wiped. If you’re read all way this way Thanks for reading as it’s a very long paragraph, my advice stay in your own SBMM lobbies because you will have a lower risk of getting shadow banned. And this is my opinion on the game SBMM ruins the fun and experience for me and then when you do have fun all the bad players report you so you can’t win really, I hope this helps in case anyone is wondering what VPN I used I used SBMM OFF.

I’d say skill based matchmaking is apparent in my lobbies, if that’s what you mean. I’m not getting any bot lobbies / easy lobbies like some of the streamers
