If a site blocks Tor, you won’t be able to access it through Tor. You could try resetting your circuit, hope you get a different exit node that’s not blocked, but there’s a good chance TikTok has blocked them all.

tiktok is garbage ass platform that wipes your fucking brain. fucks with your mental health, attention span and ESPECIALLY privacy.
i really recommend you stay really far of that braindead platform with misinformation everywhere.

Can confirm. Ive been testing various socials in an attempt to exist as a ghost for a few weeks now and about the only 2 platforms that are clear web that work are twitter and reddit.
Instagram, tiktok, and facebook all block complete anonymity.

Says more about them than really anything.

That said, apparently reddit still attempts to collect data, and from my cyber security background, most vpns dont even mask IMEI codes, so really… is anyone completely dark.

My only tip would be to install the clock app on a burner device, something old and install a vpn on it. Do not link it to anything like an email.
And connect its wifi to a device also using a vpn.

This should, in theory, ghost the device and data cant be harvested correctly.

But the device ID of the lan’d device you hotspot into might be compromised as well as isp.

Really, the only way to be dark on social media is to use a burner and access the net at a cyber cafe like sbucks.

Obviously, it goes without saying, noone is going to use wifi every time they want to watch a 1 min video on making an orange juice espresso.

Yeah tiktok bas blocked them all… now i use a vpn to open tiktok it works fine

You can:

  • Try new Tor identities repeatedly, and see if you get an exit node that’s not blocked

  • Put another proxy after Tor that’s not blocked

  • Use another service like a VPN instead of Tor
