The recent enforcement of an age-verification law in Texas has made accessing PornHub impossible, prompting a search for viable bypass methods for us.
I’m not addicted nor am I promoting anything but it’s a BASIC RIGHT of ours to be able to access anything we want. The literal last resort now is to jump locations via a VPN and get that access back.
Some suggestions:
NordVPN. Located in Panama, NordVPN benefits from being outside the 5 and 14 Eyes alliances, meaning it’s not subject to mandatory data retention laws. This positions it to offer a strict no-logs policy, which is essential for ensuring your security. Use this link (https://nordvpn.com/coupon/deal/?coupon=redditoffer ) to access their latest offer - $2.91/month on a 2-year plan (plus 4 extra months of the subscription).
Surfshark. Known for its affordability and unlimited device connections. Their current best offer with redditspecial coupon (https://surfshark.com/deal/coupon=REDDITSPECIAL ) is $2.19/month on a 2-year plan, providing a significant discount and +3 additional months too.
ExpressVPN. Well known yet also - one of the most expensive ones out there. Currently, it’s $6.67 per month + 3 months extra for a 12-month subscription.
It’s critical to steer clear of free VPNs. Their lack of security measures and potential ties to undesirable entities make them a risky choice. Specifically, for Texans, it’s wise to avoid VPNs that may compromise your privacy or security.
Hope that helps! Like it or not, it’s the only fix we’ve got until we can change the government with our votes.
Mark my words. Next on the agenda is VPN restrictions. The idea of criminalizing exists in conservative circles and is likely —it’s a very similar concept to how abortion laws came about.
Mullvad VPN over these. Pay month to month, doesn’t store your payment, can even buy their gift card on Amazon if security is concern and won’t tie in to any of your payments directly to VPN. Also, you don’t even need your name when signing up to Mullvad.
Typically best to avoid the big name VPNs. Usually owned by conglomerates that don’t have actual privacy interests in mind. Especially anything owned by Kape (expressVPN and private internet access are the big ones that come to mind).
Mullvad is a great alternative, smaller company, lots of servers, great speeds, fair pricing, awesome support for devices.
I think banning pornhub, abortion, etc. might be the final impetus to get democrats out to vote and turn Texas blue. Otherwise too much talk and no action. I was hoping Texas would ban gaming online or any anime online ….thus would really get the ball rolling
