I would think new users signing up might be somewhat disappointed if that feature isn’t available after they sign up.
Just a thought.
I got the email for the new version four days ago, but still it’s not out yet.
Hey there!
First of all, I want to clear up some confusion - we don’t have a set date for this update yet. The agent who informed second week of September was unfortunately mistaken. It could end up being finished around that time, we just aren’t sure yet.
As soon as we have a set date in mind, we’ll be reaching out to all customers via email and updating our service status page here - https://support.vyprvpn.com/hc/articles/360037728992-VyprVPN-Service-Status
Still no timeline for the Update?
Any updates? any one works for the new update?
Same email here, which is why I find it perplexing that the feature is listed on the website but hasn’t rolled out yet.
So hopefully by the end of August or very early of September?
Hi. Any ETA? It is taking too much long. Then why you announced on the website about the new version?
Don’t hold your breath.
I had a chat with Live chat of VyprVPN and they told me it will be out in the second week of September.
I find it very frustrating since I am very excited.
We aren’t sure right now, so we don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up about when the upgrade will be complete and available to customers.
We’d rather wait a little longer and release an awesome upgrade, than rush out a potentially-less-awesome upgrade.
Well OK then. Hopefully the new Windows app will stop hitting the CPU so hard.
Hi, how are you? Any news?
I also dont like that the on/off connection button is not instant. Any idea?
I also hope they will implement OpenVPN-TCP, which currently VyprVPN has only UDP for OpenVPN.
The application is so ridiculously busy in the background that it takes a second or two.
Like I said, hopefully the new app is much tighter with updated features.
Indeed. And if they don’t have OpenVPN-TCP in the upcoming version, then I wont use VyprVPN.
Supported told me about that this below:
We are sorry as there is no confirmed report on the availability of OpenVPN-TCP. After the updated version, is released we will explore it and then let you know about it.
I found that its printed on:
“OpenVPN currently only supports UDP ports, but TCP will be available in the future to offer users an even larger port range to select from.”
lol - the future is a long time.
You mean the article above? Yes, its one year old.
