I’ve already looked into it. YouTube TV and Hulu TV only carry a few local channels, so not all of them. Not even the local channels that my family watches regularly.

When the automated system asks questions just talk about cancelling. That should get you to retention. The difference is like night and day vs talking to sales. And play up moving to youtube tv hulu and another internet provider if available.
YouTubeTV has all four major networks ABC NBC CBS FOX in 95% of all markets they cover.
CW will be expanding coverage on YouTubeTV beginning June 30, but I believe coverage of CW will be approximately 60% of the country.
Some large markets have MyNetworkTV and some of the biggest markets have Independent stations also.
I live in Hawaii, and unfortunately, a lot of the local networks here are not available on YouTube TV or Hulu TV. That’s my main reason for switching back to Spectrum, aside from being offered a reasonable deal by a door to door salesman.
The only other alternative to Spectrum for the internet and phone service is Hawaiian Telcom. Hawaiian Telcom also has local channels, but they require a set top box. They use older video technology and lack on-the-go streaming options like Spectrum live TV on the website, mobile apps, Apple TV, Roku, and smart TVs, despite utilizing IPTV technology for their service.
Hawaiian Telcom has fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) in most areas, including my home. Their cheapest internet and phone bundle is 300 Mbps symmetrical download and upload and landline for $44.99 per month. They offer 1 Gbps internet alone for $74.99 per month. Hawaiian Telcom will also happily put you on whatever current promo pricing they have when your existing promo pricing expires. Their internet service is more superior than Spectrum, because they’re fiber optic.
Nice! Anything to stop giving Tom Rutledge money is a good thing.
We were customers with what was then Time Warner Cable, now Spectrum, for 17 years prior to switching to Hawaiian Telcom on May 23, 2020. Spectrum only upgraded our internet speed from 50 Mbps to 60 Mbps during the time they’ve acquired Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks. They have not upgraded our internet speeds since. At one point, we received a letter in the mail saying that we were eligible for a free upgrade to 200 Mbps internet for two years for being loyal customers and that we needed to contact customer service to redeem the perk. However, Spectrum customer service claimed that our modem is not compatible with the 200 Mbps internet service and that we either needed to buy a new modem that is compatible or rent one from them. We were using our own Motorola Surfboard SB6141, which is quite odd because this modem is known for its capabilities of up to 343 Mbps. Spectrum won’t even at least provide us a modem at no extra charge, despite doing so to new customers. That played a factor towards our decision to switch to Hawaiian Telcom a couple years later.
We had been longtime customers with Hawaiian Telcom for their landline service. When we switched to their fiber optic internet and TV service, the package we went with included internet speeds of 500 Mbps for download and 300 Mbps for upload. However, Hawaiian Telcom placed us on the 1 Gbps download and 300 Mbps upload tier for our first year at no extra charge as a perk for being a loyal customer.
Hawaiian Telcom’s customer service is also easy to talk to. They will happily put you on whatever current promo they have if your current promo rate expires. I’ve read up that attempting to do this with Spectrum’s sales/retention department is a real pain in the ass.
