I been trying to get surfshark to work on my school wifi and it does not work, our school seems to use somthing call CyberEdge, which is an upgrade to their old Cyberhound. Cyberhound was very easy to bypass, just boot up any vpn and connect to it would work and even using clould flare dns works too, but this new one I cannot bypass, I cannot even login with surfshark through school internet, and when I do, surfshark just tells me to connect to the internet even though I am. I tried the manual connection. Openvpn with TCP works at first but then it stop working, I tried switching servers and now it won’t even connect. If anyone wants to know why I am trying to bypass the school wifi, it for my mate at boarding school, he can’t even play games like Valorant and Apex in his spare time due to these block. Can anyone please help me? I want to try Shadowsock but it seem like I can’t find it in surfshark any more.

Ok, so basically after talking to surfshark staff and other people. They said they can’t help me. While I did find other ways to use to bypass, the simplest way if you don’t care about privary is to just use a random free vpn, but if you want privacy, dm me for more information.

We have a specific way to bypass such restrictions by using OpenVPN and alternative connection ports, but only our support has the files to guide any user to do that.

Ultrasurf seem to be lying about some of what they are saying. They also seems to make use rate their app 5 star, forcefully. They also put up ads and pop up ads when using their service, which can be seen in their 1 star review on google play store. They are only a proxy service, though. may I ask how would it bypass the existing firewall that suefshark can’t? Sorry I am not very educated in this area.
Sorry I am not on phone, but I had tried using third party DNS like Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 on my laptop, but then OpenVPN is still not working, I think it keep trying to connect and reconnect.
First of all, what would you be searching that you would be afraid of law enforcement knowing, two, on ios it doesn’t have ads, and three, I dunno, I tried surfshark before and I could never get past connecting but with ultrasurf its just an on off switch that worked for me.
It not about me searching for anything that I would be afraid of law enforcement knowing or not. It about that they are lying that they DON’T log information, if they are lying about that, then who knows what else they are lying about.
