I was wondering what ping the OCE players are getting and what techniques you guys use to lower it.
Currently I get around 190-229. Ultra playable but I’m used to the 20 odd I get on league. I’m aware it’ll never be that low but just seeing what’s achievable.
Mudfish started getting super patchy for me so I switched to ExitLag instead. From South Australia it drops me down to a consistent 150ms to Korean servers
For some reason the improved ping doesn’t show up when I check the ping in the lobby, but it does in game (in the bottom left)
Hi, I’m a player in Melbourne, and the best I can get currently is 180 ping. Unfortunately given the size of the game and our region we are realistically never going to have better ping than that.
I personally don’t try to lower it other than using Ethernet, but you can try a VPN cause I know that has worked for other in the past
It is what is is. From Sydney NSW and honestly have just been treating it like WC3 Dota 200 ping days. Just means you can’t really utilise quick combo characters (Laura, William) to a high degree.
You just get used to it lol. Really does narrow down what you can play though if you’re seriously climbing
I used to play with some people from oce. They had good experience with the mudfish VPN.
I have used surfshark in the past myself and it went down from 240 to 220 in the splash page. The one nimble sponsored and endorsed had similar results I just forget what it was called.
Yeah I have a friend that uses exitlag for raid in wow and swears by it. I tried it once for something, can’t remember what, and didn’t notice any significant difference.
