MacOS client consumes CPU all time

I found that MacOS client uses CPU all time and it looks like it makes something in background. Even if it isn’t connected.

But what?

I heard that VPN clients can mine crypto. Maybe it works on that?!

Yes, I just noticed the same and that’s not normal. I also have ZenMate VPN and it dosen’t consume CPU when VPN connections is not active. PureVPN however consumes noticiable amount of CPU when VPN connection is not active by no visible reason. I have only icon in status bar, app in doc is closed (setting in preferences) so I dunno why it consumes CPU, PureVPN also shown in “Using significant energy” list when battery icon clicked.
