Looking for a *free* VPN that supports Port-Forwarding

I’m new to VPN scene. Looking for a free VPN that supports port-forwarding. I’m not concerned about privacy or security. I’m only trying to achieve port-forwarding which doesn’t work for me now as I’m behind a CGN.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There’s no such thing. Mullvad is $5 a month.

If a vpn is free YOU are the product

I’ve found some good solutions.

https://web.tunnel.my.id/

https://tunnelin.com/

https://portmap.io/

http://ngrok.io/

Did you find what you are looking for?

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m too poor to spend $5 a month

Those solutions make me feel like you were looking for something not related to this subreddit… Look into the homenetworking or homelab subreddit…

Also checkout Zerotier and tailscale…

ya check these out.

https://ipjetable.net

They are not the straight forward solution. but it works

You’ll spend a whole lot more money if you get caught torrenting without one.

Why would someone offer a “free” service without charge to a customer without anything in return? It costs money to maintain the servers, electricity, security, etc. If it’s free then you can guarantee they are harvesting all of your web traffic and selling it to advertisers

Thanks for the suggestions. ZeroTier and Tailscale both provides mesh networking, bringing devices in WAN to LAN. Not what I was looking for though.

My interest is in a solution for port-forwarding to my torrent client. My ISP has a CGNAT, so I can’t port-forward.

I imagined the experts out here would know better.

Well I invested my own time and got my solution.

Start with the last one. https://ipjetable.net

you get public IP on vpn connection. easiest port forwarding solution.

Edit: Looks like ipjetable doesnt have free trial anymore.

I’ve already posted the solution. SO THEY DO EXIST

Torrenting is pretty much safe here. I’ve never used a VPN in my 15 years of torrenting.

I already said I’m not concerned about my privacy or security. I take it that you are not aware of a free VPN service or a solution for what I was looking for.

In any case, I have a solution now.

It’s FREE and I’m satisfied with the result.

“they are harvesting all of your web traffic and selling it to advertisers” Hot take, that’s better than spending money ngl.

Honestly, could be much worse

What was your solution? I’m in a similar situation (behind NAT firewall)

Thanks for the reply.

Can you tell me what it is?
