Kodi, Real-Debrid and VPN

Hello,

So, after a few years I’m back to Kodi and just installed Fen.

What I’ve noticed right after installing it is that now it downloads directly from torrent sites like PirateBay which didn’t happen before due the use of sites like Rapidshare, Mega, etc…

Do I need a VPN to hide my IP address or will Real-Debrid will do that for me?

In other words, do I download directly from other peers or does Real-Debrid downloads the file and transmits to me since the service can unlock premium links and also download torrents for you.

Yep Realdebrid caches the torrents and provides direct encrypted streams so there is no p2p involved.

If i get paid real debrid will i have more links on apps like the crew? I know about how it fixes buffers and you get better quality, but i was wondering if you get more working links for tv shows, docu-series, and movies. Even older movies from the 90s.

Or do I need a whole different app more compatible with real debrid. The free sports apps usually work good but theres usually some buffering and some non working links but sports are more consistent than movies or certain tv shows in 'the crew. ’

RealDebrid doesn’t work for live content - So if the sports you’re talking about are live, RealDebrid will be no help to you.

What you’d want in that scenario would be an IPTV subscription.

Many many more links are available. Especially if you are used to “free links only”. I do not find any movie or tv show addons to be “inconsistent” when using RD. No buffering, no dead links, its excellent.
