Quick question is it safe to use an Australian vpn server? or should I use an international one?
Too bad that my broadband is also too slow to be at all useable when a VPN has been activated. Feel like I’ve just been check mated by the Government.
i just use a mirror for the site(s) that the government blocks.

I’ve been using a free movie app on my Xbox One. I understand that the app is more or less a search engine so the movies being streamed are from actual websites. What I’m confused about is whether or not it appears in my data that I’m streaming directly from these sites. I’m a little worried about using the app now.
I gave up on PIA because my connection speed is so terrible as it is. I only used it for torrenting anyway because it doesn’t work on the Xbox and my router doesn’t support VPN’s.
Is there even a point if I only sync at 5mbps on a good day anyway? I’m going to end up with, like, dialup speeds aren’t I?
The Opera browser has a built in VPN, apparently. I’ve used Opera before and it was good. Haven’t tried out the VPN, though.
Can anyone else comment on whether it’s any good?
It’s good to see that a lot of people know about the work around i.e. #GETaVPN, but they gotta make sure that their service ain’t based in any of the 5 eyes country because this. I personally use purevpn which is based in Hong Kong. There definitely are more which are based outside the 14 eyes!

Just signed up for Express VPN, I’m in brissy, there Sydney server gives me no slowdown for local gaming and such. Overwatch, CS and some mmos with almost better ping lol
On Chrome no real slowdown with emails, reddit or youtube so far.
Supports phones, tablets and laptops too for the one cost, so seems good so far.
So, a few questions. Are their good VPNs and bad VPNs? Can I just find the cheapest one and roll with that?

hey so I’ve got a question. I use PIA and if I connect to any servers outside of Australia my download speeds become basically unusable.
if I’m connected to an Australian server would that still be good protection? like obviously my meta data would be captured but there would be no identifiers to me right? because I’m connecting through PIA servers?
or do I have to use a server from a different country? and if I do what would be my best choice? I want to use a VPN 24/7 so hopefully I can find a good server that isn’t too slow. if I can just keep using the Australian servers that would be great. let me know, boys.
