Is it possible to somehow stop sites from detecting that I am using a VPN?

Hello guys. I don’t know if people have asked before, but I am curious if it is possible to make certain sites not detect that I have a vpn.

For example, Intel has now an offer which is specifically blocked in US (game offer) however, If I try to enter the site with a vpn, they detect me.

I would appreciate any help.

Check the “IP type” on https://ipx.ac/

Your home and cell will say “Residential (ISP/Broadband)” and “Mobile ISP” and the VPN will say “Non-Residential (Data Center)”

All websites can check for this info and ban data center IP addresses.

You can buy a subscription to a Residential Static IP.

Try reconnecting or using different servers so that you get a different ip

No, not really since a majority of the IP addresses that are used are in the datacenter range and they don’t like that. Just keep switching until it works I guess. Happens quite a lot.

I guess WindScribe residential static IP should work as a normal home user IP.
But I never tried because residential IP is so expensive for me.

Not really. Once the IP is flagged/marked as a VPN, no way around it. Just have to try a different server that hasn’t been flagged yet.

Yeah sadly I kept switching, also on different servers but no luck, it is what it is!
