When we switched to AT&T, we were a joint account that I then separated out onto my own. Since then, there’s been an ongoing issue with connectivity with account access and with iPhone settings and controls.
It would seem that there is a proxy server that is controlling access to the Internet, and that is delaying text messages via the cellular network.
There are certain settings on the iPhone that I cannot alter particularly is relating to iCloud, backups syncing, etc. Can anyone offer insights on what is happening?

Icloud and Apple ID have nothing to do with your service provider. Those are Apple functions. If you have been sharing an Apple ID with someone else, that might why you’re having a problem.
I have heard of some people who have trouble backing up to iCloud, which usually happens automatically when The fountain is plugged into charge and connected to a Wi-Fi connection.
I see no vpn on the phone. What if the line is a part of an AT&T business account? Couldn’t then a vpn be set up for the device without being on the device? How could I determine if this phone is a part of an AT&T business account?
