Do you have two vpn connections in settings? You can have a device vpn and personal vpn connected at the same time.
Did you transfer all data from previous phone? Let’s try to remove all VPN profiles/settings and add them again. After my first VPN connection on new iPhone 16 pro (after transferring data) I had same issue. I deleted every VPN settings and added them again. It fixed the issue.
Yea same, i need to restart my phone just to make a stupid little icon disappear. Unironically this is one of the worst bugs that really impacted my day to day usage, i heavily rely on vpn because my country bans everything and sometimes i need to open my banking apps or make a mobile payment and that stupid little icon caused me some brief anxiety. It is a minor problem but it really pissed me off

I had several of them but it’s all turned off, i’ve been deleting all of my vpn profiles just to make sure it’s all turned off and nothings changed
It’ll say connected to both. What that actually means, not sure.
