At charter before it turned into spectrum I had around 6 letter cards in the mail over around a 6 month period then I had to do a survey to be able to use my web browser it kept going to it nothing would load. I did it and still downloaded torrents often including new movies and TV shows but this was over 10 years ago. They started making stuff up saying I had a data cap and it was on my bill even though it wasn’t even in fine print or anywhere on their website because I was downloading hundreds of gigabytes a month lol. They likely are a lot stricter now but some isp in some areas probably are way different and nothing will happen.
