I just changed mine to the next state over in the same time zone. I’m hoping that’ll work. The other one was in Dallas (I think) & maybe moving it closer, it’ll not do it. I wonder about the new automatic VPN through Google on my Android. I haven’t had any problems with it YET. But idk if it’s even on lol I’m a basic techie, not even close to being a mid-level techie when it comes to this kind of thing. It’s only happened once on Hulu yesterday, but I’ve had it on (can’t recall the location) & it’s worked. I had to fix my X acct bc it was coming up in Czechoslovakian writing. I’ve had my YouTube come up in what looks to be Russian letters on my Android. Kinda crazy on the different sites. Thanks for any reply you give me!
Honest answer, and an accurate one here OP. But also… Are you looking for media that is exclusive to Hulu, or literally anything else? Might just be me but I cannot stand the way they do their ads.
I’ve been watching it using US servers & it was fine. I wonder if I was on the same one when I signed up bc I suppose that can screw it up if I had the VPN on when I renewed my Hulu.
TIPS! Hulu on Black Friday 99¢/mo for the YEAR! I wish they’d give a $2.99 deal on Black Friday WITHOUT commercials! But at least you can renew vs make a new account every year now. I think I got Starz for 99¢ & I’m going to add Max on through Hulu. I HATE how they make you use Disney to sign in. It really messed up my old account.
Anyway, Black Friday is the time to get renewed streaming services. And on Amazon Prime Video, you can pay $2.99/mo & get all commercials removed… definitely worth it. I’m hoping putting everything on my Google TV acct will make it easier once I set it up.
Does that get you past iplayer’s check?
That’s very advanced
Thank you for this link
Changing the server worked this time. There’s a trade off: using a lesser known VPN may mean fewer servers, leading to VPN discovery. The Brax Router is supposed to be stealthy, but we have this at home, and most streaming sites identify it at once. Disappointing.
Very impressive. Your company, of course, has a right to do this, and VPN providers have a right to attempt to escape detection. Meanwhile, the user is caught in the middle of this cat and mouse game.
Anything you can and are willing to share about what helps get around your company figuring this out? Companies that change it so often, etc
Thanks for commenting and the info/link
I’m going to try stealth. Does it change anything else though?
Never heard of it. I’ve heard of cloudflare, though.
Buying your own IP address from your VPN provider might get you past that. It won’t get you past a time-zone check, though.
Thanks, I’ll take a look.
Unfortunately, my Play Store has been removed, so I can’t install the Android version. The Chrome plug-in doesn’t have this option.
Sounds like a nice project
X-ray reality is overkill
Thanks, I’ve done similar things before.
What is stealth? It’s all supposed to be stealth. I don’t see an option for this.
If you are in the US, you can access Hulu without a vpn.
