So i’m looking forward to getting a vpn but i’m not sure how to change my location so i can get arround restricted content in my country. Does changing my server to USA change my location to the USA ? Or how does this work?
Yes, when you connect to a vpn where ever you set the location to is where you will appear to be
Be aware most content providers such as Netflix know you’re using a VPN because they keep a list of all the exit nodes.
Using STEALTH protocol/Bridge/proxy can help with detection as well, so you may have an easier time getting around restrictive firewalls.
And do i chanage my location by changing the server, or is there a separate tab where i can set it?
Depending on what vpn provider you use, a lot of times they connect to the fastest and closest one. Most of the time though you can select a specific region to connect to.
