How do you install Nordvpn on manjaro linux?

Hello all, i am trying to install Nordvpn on my Operating system but i don’t know exactly how to.
Would someone please give me step by step instructions on how to install and use? I would be forever grateful.

Have you tried installing nordvpn-bin? You should see it in pamac if you’ve enabled AUR.

Hi also using nord and manjaro.
Openvpn (like nordvpns desktop app) can be easily used to connect to nords servers, bonus it’s open source.

You may need to install a GUI for openvpn.

Then click openvpn tray icon, add server, use individual servers address (available on nords website) and nord credentials to login.

Unfortunately this way you need to manually click which server you want and add each server address individually.

Hopefully someone can add to this. I assume there is a way to install nord vpns Linux app. Using AUR? Or something that adds whatever the repo needs for it to run in manjaro

From the Manjaro forums

[HowTo] NordVPN - Usage, Installation, Updating and Troubleshooting

https://archived.forum.manjaro.org/t/howto-nordvpn-usage-installation-updating-and-troubleshooting/71268

This link explains some of the items /u/Dwanger6 is referring to.

I’m on Manjaro 22.1

I used: NORD VPN https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NordVPN

Install the nordvpn-bin

Got error: “run/nordvpn/nordvpnd.sock not found.” when trying to run “nordvpn login

Had to "sudo usermod -aG nordvpn $USER" and then reboot then after rebooting "sudo systemctl restart nordvpd"

Was able to follow the rest of the install process without issues after that, if that helps any.

did you know that linux subreddits are often frequented by new users who don’t need your condescension?

like, try to be less of a stereotype of the elitist linux user.

You could easily have provided a link and treated the OP with some decency asshole. Never be a teacher dude, you would suck at it, in fact never give anyone advice ever if you’re going to be such a piece of shit about it.
