Unclear why this is better than pihole with a wireguard connection on top. Can you explain?

Also documentation does not explain how to manipulate whitelist/ adlists used. Or what format adlists are in. Can you elaborate?

If you’re directing people to run black-box scripts they get from the internet, you automatically fail at security, software install, and, really, the internet.

Let’s stop normalizing the WORST install process ever devised.

The current implementation uses WireGuard with AdGuardHome. It can take the host list syntax like Pihole. To upload your own or fine-tune the blocklist, you may go to the AdGuardHome dashboard. Otherwise, choosing the block mode would get you started with some common blocklists and recommended settings.

Regarding whether AGH is better Pihole, it’s a personal preference. They are both filtering DNS, while AGH is more feature-rich. There is a plan to let you choose between AGH and Pihole when creating a tunnel if you like Pihole more.

Thanks for 4 pre-existing products wrapped in go and naming it after a funny dad joke. In all seriousness though, you had a use case, you built something for it and accomplished the task, I think thats actually pretty cool. But this here son is the interpipes Al Gore invented. If I had any advice, enjoy the fact that you did something cool, Ive fallen into wanting these screwheads approval (including myself in screwheads), it aint comin. Or at bare minimum I couldnt. ISNT THAT RIGHT DAD, YOUR HATRED WILL DIE WITH YOU OLD MAN!
