Hello - My Fios system blocks access to certain websites such as uploadgig.com
Is there any easy solution to bypass this besides VPN or using my own router? Thank you.
Using your own router won’t keep it from being null routed. That happens on the Verizon side of the network. VPN is your only option. Verizon is known to blacklist sites that host malware or copyrighted content.
If it’s just one site you need to get to, try a Opera GX which has a free built in VPN that is easy to turn on with a switch.
Seems like it is hosted by DDoS Guard and falls in-line with the other null-routed IPs that they own. You would need to use a VPN until they decide to unblock.
For weeks now I keep getting blocked by many sites , its really annoying no fix ever…

Just use another DNS. 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. You don’t need a VPN for this issue.
Won’t work if the site is blocked by verizon. Only VPN will work.
Nope, it’s being blocked beyond the DNS level.
