Being able to access PornHub, for one thing 
But if you seriously want to know the advantages of using a VPN, just…you know…Google it. I’ll agree that they are often oversold to people who know very little about privacy, security, and what VPNs actually do and (crucially) don’t do. But for me, as someone who is well-versed in such things, it often makes sense to use a VPN for my purposes.
