Disney Plus in Canada isn't a valuable service

Actually, some shows that are available in Europe are not available in the US. Example: Sofia the First. On top of that, you get access to Disney Star just for accessing Disney+ from a European IP address, thus unlocking the whole Hulu library for anyone.

But I think you know why cable would suck. It’s the same reason you mentioned yourself. CRTC rules governing Canadian content, and US content > Canadian content.

The whole reason to VPN, is because we want equivalent access to US content rather than waiting for Bell or Rogers to negotiate for it.

Because cable is controlled by those 2 (in Ontario at least) - cable is not a solution. Why pay them when I can pay the source of the content directly?
