Hello, I recently just purchase a Surface laptop 7th edition and in need of a VPN program that would work on it. Do you guys have any recommendation? Thanks!
I use wireguard. OpenVPN works fine as well from what I’ve read.
+1 for PIA VPN. You can find some crazy deals for 3+ years service for like $80 CAD.
I personally love Windscribe. I believe it’s on Arm now.
I use SurfShark VPN and it has an ARM install. Nord VPN is also running a special as well right now, but I dont know of the ARM status.
OpenVPN and just use the config files from whatever provider you want (I use Mullvad because it’s the most anonymous VPN I’ve found yet).
Why do you need a VPN? There are many VPN services that heavily advertise, and much of what they say in the ads is misleading or false. Most of the time, the main reason you’d need a VPN is to connect to something specific, so whatever you need to connect to would already tell you what software you need.
As it is an SP7 it’s intel so runs pretty much any VPN. Suggest you search for “no log VPN” in the search engine of your choice and check the reviews. Seems a bit pointless to buy a VPN from a vendor that keeps a log of your activity… NordVPN, PureVPN, Proton, Surfshark are reliable. Oh word of warning the ones you see with “But through us, the reseller and for one price get a Lifetime account” yeah, utter BS, usually anywhere between a 2 year and a 5 year licence. Don’t get one from someone like Norton who just use it to perennially try and up sell you.
