I really don’t have much money at all to spend on NordVPN.
Is there a P2P allowed VPN for around £10 a year?
Thanks!

SurfShark.com is the cheapest one i’ve found at $2 a month, compared to nordvpn which is more popular and costs $3.50ish a month. I’ve tried them both and can’t tell any difference except in speed, nord just has more ip locations and countries you can use
Any VPN that charges 10£ a year will be worthless and leak your ip anyway, might just aswell torrent without VPN…
Ivacy lifetime is the cheapest option via stacksocial.
I got 3 years of Nord for $90 back on Black Friday with a 75% off coupon plus an additional $38 back through one of those cashback sites, though it took a month and a half or so to actually pay out. Boiled down to like $18 a year after that.

I’d recommend PIA…Just try it…I think it’s the best!
Can’t get much cheaper than using a free trial then cancelling before you get charged - https://streamingmoviesright.com/free-vpn/
I just wondered, I used a free VPN, went to nordvpn in Hong Kong, and they had a three year deal for 126 dollars, but converted to sterling was 12 quid. Would it still work, or have I made a mistake in conversion?
Hmm, okay. Currently I torrent it via Seedr free account, and download it to my PC from there. Issue is I am limited to 5.5 GB max size torrent.
I see they have a deal for 3 years at 100, but I don’t have that in my account so can’t take advantage of it
The down side to NordVPN is they do not allow any form of port forwarding which causes problems on upload. So if you have a tracker that requires a specific ratio, it takes forever to get that ratio.
Tbh, depending on wich country you live in I don’t think you need a VPN for casually dowloading, they’re mostly going after uploaders…
I live in Belgium for example and imo it’s all a big marketing scheme… you can always get unlucky tho…
UK, I think they are pretty harsh here.
None of my friends torrent, and my dad can’t share his VPN account (IDK who it is with) lol.
The ISPs log everything here, 1 year minimum by law I believe. I recommend going with PIA. It’s not £10 per year but it’s quite reasonably priced.
PIA is good because they actually protect your privacy, providing you with a lot more freedom online. Private internet access should be a right, but if we need to pay for it, PIA is a good company.
The UK is pretty bad with censorship. I think a good VPN is a mandatory purchase really.
I’m up to share my account for cheap if you want to.
I second PIA. The portforwarding service works really well, meaning your BT client remains connectable. Really the best way to go IMO
Cool, can I send you a Dm?
FYI there is potentially less privacy if you port forward. Port forwarding isn’t needed for seeding.
