Every few weeks my point-to-point IPSec VPN stops responding.
This is Untangle on two Procteli appliances, same version of UT.
Stopping and starting the VPN service restores the connection.
I would like to cron / foo a bounce of the service.
Is there a technique which doesn’t involve screen scraping?
Why not try wireguard ?
on the list, however it may be a while. and I could have the same issues.
Wireguard is not available in the $50 subscription, only the $150/yr subscription has it
Wireguard pretty easy to setup from untangle to untangle.

Worth it to have though. I use IPsec alot though.
