Hi, I live in China & have a Hong Kong PS4 PRO and I want to setup my vpn but I have no idea how to get it on the console. Anyone out there know if it can be done?

You can’t do it directly in your PS4.

As far as I remember, ExpressVPN offered a way to connect a VPN directly on a PS4. You’ll need to check their website for exact details.

Also, out of interest, what do you need the VPN for?

Ok, if Express is dead, you’ll need to either connect the PS4 to a computer as others suggest, or connect it to a router that has a VPN running on it. Either of those ways should work.

I don’t use express vpn anymore. The servers are dead in China and I can’t connect to my friends in Canada. So, thats why I want to connect my ps4 to my vpn. Thanks.

if the router is vpn compatible can you use Netflix on the ps4 and get the usa catalopg of series and movies?

Depends on the VPN. Not many actually work with Netflix anymore, in my experience. Check reviews. If you find one that works with Netflix, that’s compatible with a router, you should be golden.
