Anyone have any luck accessing BBC iPlayer with a VPN? I use Mullvad, but does not seem to work

Glastonbury coming up this weekend and always like to watch if I can !

You can buy a dedicated IP address from some VPN providers like nordvpn to get around this.

They’ve been trying to clamp down on it but I can use it through expressvpn. Sometimes I have to restart my browser after turning it on

Never had issues with NordVPN in the past. Surfshark works for me accessing UK stuff too, but doesn’t work for accessing Irish stuff while abroad, and their support staff don’t seem to understand Ireland is not in the UK, so I’ll be switching back to Nord once the current Surfshark contract runs out.

I use Windscribe and access the BBC iplayer no bother.

I use Goose VPN in my MacBook, iPad and iPhone and it works great with iPlayer. I pay £10 a year through my IPTV provider.

I’ve used windscribe to watch Doctor Who occasionally, but recently the lag has been atrocious.

Works grand on atlas van for me

Express VPN on Apple TV, flawless.

Proton VPN can bypass the geographical restriction. How do you get around the issue of requiring a TV license though?

Surfshark for VPN and web video cast app (this allows you to cast to Google Chrome cast) from your iPhone
