Anyone able to use Web based connectivity?? It’s not letting my sign on with 2 step allthruucsd and it’s super frustrating cause I can’t view any library resources, any help is appreciated!

Once you enter your credentials, you also have to accept it on your Duo.
Web based only works with the 2 step EasyConnect method. I would recommend following the UCSD VPN page on Blink since it has the exact info you need if you scroll down to EasyConnect web interface. The better option is to use the downloaded VPN though, since the web-based one only works in tabs you open from the web-based VPN (you can’t just go to like jstor.org in the standard URL bar, you need to use the in-tab options on the web-based VPN). It is unfortunately impossible to use allthruucsd from the web, but the web VPN tab is effectively the same thing, just limited.
Got past that part, still doesn’t recognized the java on my laptop and it’s forcing me to download the mobile VPN and upgrade it to Mac OS Catalina, why can’t I connect to the web based even though I imputes duo and correct info?
What browser are you using?
Safari, Chrome, and Firefox have all discontinued NPAPI support (which Java needs).
You can set the option to “2 Step Secured - EasyConnect” which will let you browse through a very limited web-based interface.
