Expressvpn mods don’t work anymore as it seems so I’m looking for a alternative, and so far ive failed miserably
Proton is the safest and free (with limitations)
How do cracked vpns even work? They are supposed to connect to their server, therefore needing an account I guess unless you actually connect to a hacker’s server and they will see all you do.

Abusing the free trial option, basically. Which is why it doesn’t work anymore for expressVPN, they changed the way free trials work.
Free trial for expressvpn, hotspot shield used to run as premium without even having to log in tho.

I feel this is the correct answer.
Usually free VPNs are a security risk already and then modded ones can also pose similar risk unless some trusted modder released another trial abuse mod.
This is why Proton got rid of their free trial, too. 
Which really sucks, I don’t know if I would have paid for them if I hadn’t been able to try it first. Buttheads ruin things for everyone.

Just go on happymod and type in windscribe VPN, thing is it’ll only connect to the suggested server by pressing the power icon, and if u try and connect to a different one it won’t let u and you’ll have to log out and log back in B4 it’ll work again
