Any free VPN to use TOR that doesn't log data

I’m a student and cannot afford to pay for VPN right now. I’m on a budget.

Any free VPN that doesn’t keep logs as part of their terms and conditions and safe to use over TOR?

You can use Tor Browser with no VPN and your traffic from that browser will be protected. But any traffic produced by other apps and services in your system will not be protected.

The bot should pick this up soon. But it will provide info as to why a VPN doesn’t really contribute to an individuals anonymity.

Also there’s no such thing as a free “no log” vpn

Hi!

I’m a bot. And I am here to tell you, that you should probably not use a VPN.

I am not going to write a gigantic (and probably incorrect, bad or something else) post on why you shouldn’t since there are so many others that have already done that.

Here is a quick summary:
If you use VPN to conceal Tor usage: If Tor isn’t banned or blocked, you might not need it. Else, use bridges.

Hell to the fuck no! You dont need a VPN. Thats how you get caught.

Probably not. This might have already been said, but if you can’t afford a VPN, you just use Tor because it is free and open sourced. Way better than trusting a sketchy 3rd party app with all your internet traffic. If you live in a place where Tor is legal, you use Tor, especially if you can’t afford a VPN.

Tor = Good

VPN = Bad

Tor + VPN = Very bad

Download the Orbot app and enable the VPN mode
it also comes with SOCKS

you can go on websites like cyberhub.pw you can get nordvpn accs etc nor do you need a vpn for tor tor has theirown relay server

Orbot is a FOSS ,I don’t expect it to log data,and then people saying TOR over VPN is wrong or more of a damage,check this link Do I need both Tor Browser for Android and Orbot, or only one? | Tor Project | Support

VPN doesn’t help or hurt Tor browser, and VPN helps protect all of the non-Tor traffic (services, cron jobs, other apps) coming out of your system while you’re using Tor browser (and after you stop using Tor browser). Using a VPN and letting the VPN company see some info is better than letting your ISP see the same info. So leave the VPN running 24/365, even while you’re using Tor. [PS: I’m talking about running TB in a normal OS; Tails is a different situation.]

That said, neither VPN nor Tor/onion are magic silver bullets that make you safe and anonymous. VPN mainly protects your traffic from other devices on same LAN, from router, and from ISP. Tor/onion does same, but only for Tor browser traffic; also adds more hops to make it harder to trace back from the destination server to your original IP address, and also mostly forces you into using good browser settings. Both VPN and Tor/onion really protect only the data in motion; if the data content reveals your private info, the destination server gets your private info.

Buh then tor entry nodes(which are voluntarily run by either people capable of security and privacy threat or even by three lettered government organizations) know who you are, i.e your real IP address
And probably receive your search request even before encryption)
So VPN protects your identity from tor’s entry nodes
breaches are still possible from exit nodes if your search request contains enough private info like real names,e-mail, and stuff

Orbot is not a VPN, Orbot (can) use the VPN feature of Android to route the traffic of apps through Tor.

You’re going to reveal your real IP address to someone, either VPN or onion entrance node or (in case of no VPN no Tor) the destination server. Revealing IP address to either VPN or entrance node should be okay. No guarantees.
