It’s a legitimate question. Unless your ISP is blocking the URL to you IPTV service then a VPN is truly unnecessary. Your ISP and your IPTV provider are the only people who can see what your doing. Your ISP can’t arrest you, and if they cared what you were doing they would simply block it on their end.
The only time you can really get in trouble for streaming illegal content is by accessing torrents without a VPN or debrid service. This is because when you torrent your IP address is publicly available in the torrent swarm, and copyright tolls monitor these swarms. There is no such swarm with IPTV or anyway for copyright trolls to monitor IPTV services.
Therefore it’s perfectly fine to watch IPTV without a VPN. I’ve been doing it for years with zero issues.
