You don’t want to use a free VPN because they come with a whole bunch of threats to your privacy. I’ve used PrivateInternetAccess since last year and swear by it. Many sketchy VPN companies seem to be marketing exclusively to Kodi users, I don’t trust those guys.
PIA all the way, been using for a while now. Great service.
Honestly, ignore all the PIA recommendations. PIA are absolute rubbish.
If you have to use them, test them out for a month before committing to a longer plan.
Love torguard get 2 years for $60
Same, I’m really happy with is as long as you disable their DNS settings.
I’ve used PIA for 3 years as well and they’re fantastic. Their free SOCKS proxy is great for Quasar
Ive been using PIA for 3-4 years now and have had zero issues.
I found Private Internet Access to be completely unusable. I personally think the hype about them is astroturfing… hey, you’re account hasn’t made many posts… interesting…
I’ve used Nord and thought it was a good product. I’ve since lapsed but I’m debating doing the two year deal as well for Kodi.
what is a good and trustworthy vps that doesn’t store logs?
Even easier, setup a pfsense VPS and OpenVPN.
Not true. No law requires them to have logs to begin with.
Do not post affiliate links here. You have benefits temporarily banned for a day.
Interesting I’ll check them out. I made this thread because a lot of sites online seem to recommend IPVAnish and i wanted to know if anyone here has any experiences with them.

Why disable the DNS? Asking because I’m an ExpressVPN client and I’m happy with their service so far. No issues
Except that they can request a warrant to place essentially a tap on a particular VPN. In other words they can go in and mirror all traffic thru your VPN. You are right. No records needed they can simply get a live version.
Funny I was just going to day that…if you read under there privacy disclosure it will open a few eyes…
Anyways cheers
Don’t know if it’s the case with PIA, but the most recommended VPNs don’t keep any log, so if PIA doesn’t, then it doesn’t matter if they are in the US or not, they don’t have anything to give to authorities.
