Is Unlimited worth it anymore?

I use ProtonVPN on Linux every single day. Works fine, it doesn’t look real pretty but functionally it’ll do.

I’m happy with Mail and Pass (though only using it for TOTP codes because I’m happy with BitWarden and want to keep password/passcodes separate from all other app systems. Drive is seriously lacking in functionality. No time to play with Wallet though it has solid potential. Calendar needs to integrate Mail with Apple Maps, or Proton needs an equivalent Maps app. Last time I tried Calendar I was very frustrated that lots of usual features were missing (simple things that I am used to doing with Apple Calendar like setting recurring schedules, multiple calendars for various functions, etc. I don’t recall everything that was missing; I was just too frustrated and couldn’t take chances to keep trying it.)

I ended up getting downgrading to mail+, $12 addy and the VPN, I just stopped using it and switched to other things where I did need it.

I basically have to have things setup manually for VPN through the network manager for the VPN to work.

What I’ll probably do is go for a few months without using anything but Mail/calendar. If I notice no difference, I’l converting to mail plus and I’ll get like 2 years of it with all the credits

Ya I had them try to troubleshoot it with me, just could not get it working.in the end I had to do it manually.

Good luck. Hope it works. Looks like Linux is already support by several of their other apps so I reckon they’re going to get VPN working there too, eventually.

Strange. I remember having some issues on my Fedora laptop with the killswitch, but once I turned that off, it’s been fine.
