Yes 100 % incorrect. Throttling only apples to torrenting because they can’t feasibly block. Any other copyright infringement or http/s gets outright blocked (like the torrent search websites)

Man it’s a terrible app. Have you used other apps. I just installed it again before posting in case I was remembering wrong. Is there a special version I haven’t found. I have version 2.5.2. this thing is slow & clunky and unattractive in a way I would never recommend to a person new to this stuff. In a world where Stremio or Flixvision or even Onstream exists. Cinema feel like bottom feeding. Maybe I just don’t have the right version.
Someone’s downvoting all the answers, as is weirdly the case often here. As breadfruit said, get proton VPN free. It’s one concurrent device only, meaning you can use it on your PC, phone, and firestick, but only have it active one device at a time. Which is totally fine for free. It’s pretty bare bones… the biggest downside is and you can’t pick a country with free version. It defaults to the fastest server available which if you’re in the US will almost always also be in the US.
Edit - and no, cinema HD doesn’t use torrents so really don’t need it.

If it’s good enough for you that’s fine. Other apps do the same things only faster and with a more modern UI.
Amazon is always messing with things and they are close to running their own OS. So that could mean the end of sideloading apps. Just go through posts here and see all the posts about their devices not working.
I am not accusing them but people do think they’re purposedly bricking their devices so you need to buy a new one. I had one a few years ago and it got stuck in the boot loop mess and when I saw all the posts about it I switched to Onn. I have never heard anything about an Onn taking a shit like that yet.
It’s just my opinion and you can do what you want. Just do some research and you will see all the unhappy people with bricked devices.
