It is almost the same thing. Main thing is you don’t need anything installed on the client devices. Just connect to the proxy.
It’s the only way I can play my Xbox online at work. I just side loaded Pythonista.

how do you set it up though? i only have like 5-6 gigs of hotspot data, and i tried to set it up and run it, but it doesn’t really work. tried connecting a laptop and another iphone on separate occasions, wasn’t able to connect to the internet
Just google search PairVPN for instructions. If u can’t follow the steps, you are not capable to use this software because you will need some basic computer skill to use it.
I’m sorry, wasn’t NordVPN audited many times and their no logs policy been found to be correct?
Yup, Mullvad is maybe the best out there. I’ve been using it for way over 2 years now.
Mullvad recently removed port forwarding which makes it very ineffective for torrenting.
Thanks. I set it up last night but haven’t tried it out yet.
Seems to be working? I connect to iphone hotspot, enable script on iphone, then set proxy on Android phone connected via hotspot.
I’m getting data but all these errors?
Appers to be apps on my Android phone trying to connect online.

I did some digging. Some people don’t like Nord because they took months to even disclose that their third party server had been hacked for several months. Other than that, it’s been okay for others. Just depends how much you care about security disclosure.
My friend buys it and we share an account, I have legit never had a single problem with it
I use the wireguard vpns they provide, and torrenting works at about 50MiB/s
Yes. I use the SOCKS address as the proxy address.
To certify it is working go to whatsmyip.com on both devices. The ipv4 addresses should match.
Ya it works, but only effectively with other people who do have port forwarding enabled on their end. With big torrents it doesn’t matter since there’s plenty of people to draw from, but if there’s only like 5 seeders and none have port forwarding you may be unable to download at all.
Seeding especially is much slower without port forwarding, which makes you “that guy” at best and possibly a rule breaker at worst (for private trackers who have a ratio rule)
Hmm, I get no data when I try the Socks proxy.

Did you figure out how to get it to work this is my only option and I can’t figure it out ;(
