For years it’s been working mostly just fine, just in recent 7-14 days it’s a bit spotty though still works most of the time after a couple server switches.
I’m happy to try something different that doesn’t require a degree in IT. Though most other VPN services I find like Mullvad I don’t hear great comments either.
I was busy with meetings yesterday, so haven’t yet tried with my laptop, but I guess it will be the same problem as Android APP, based on your experience.
I’ve tried a number of different servers, doesn’t seem to make any difference.
Not a tech guy so can’t really explain in tech terms but for my personal use, stealth and wireguard doesn’t let me use certain programs when it’s running like Qiyou for gaming or Xunlei for downloading.
On openweb, I’m able to run Qiyou for gaming while accessing YouTube and other blocked websites. But with stealth or wireguard, I’m kinda forced between choosing to run one or the other at the same time.
I know I know, first world problems lol, but definitely not as convenient for me to use stealth.
It’s been like that since the October holiday, despite the annual conference not starting until later this week. OpenWeb has no servers and need to use Stealth or Wireguard. Actually seems fairly stable for me now, but chances are it’ll start dropping out again as the day progresses.
Weirdly by laptop is a BIT more stable, have to play around with servers a bit still, but not as much and it doesn’t freeze.
Ok. I’m also not a tech guy, and not doing any gaming. So far, I haven’t recognized any difference.
I put mine on ‘Full Mask’ last night which seems to have improved things somewhat. At least it’s better than Express or Nord which would both completely stop for days!
