I’ve been having a problem with the iOS version of Windscribe for the past couple of months. Sometimes when connecting to the VPN, the connection will fail and I get an error pop-up saying “primary Domain already failed for this request.” Then, the internet on my iPhone does not work (even though the VPN is not actually connected). Neither Wi-Fi nor cellular data works. I need to restart the device for the internet to return.
I’m not sure why this is happening? Any help is appreciated!
In case it helps, I’m connecting via WireGuard and this happens with many different servers and isn’t confined to one country or server.
Make sure you put a ticket in Via the web and include any logs or exact times/servers it’s happening on as they can’t just look it up.
I’ve not heard of this happening to others, so it might be isolated. Hence, I am making sure you put in a ticket and if you email back reference the ticket #.
Yeah this has happened to me now a couple of times too. Super annoying as it kills my wi fi completely. What I’ve found is that toggling vpn on and off in the settings of my iPhone seems to fix it though. But yeah windscribe should look into it.
